Pumpkins, leaves, bundling up, and, of course, hitting up some of the scariest events of the year!
Ok, maybe not the scary ones depending on how old your kiddos are. But regardless of age, there's some awesome events to help you get in the Halloween spirit throughout the month. You're in for a frighteningly fun time.
Want a night of Halloween DELIGHT? Then join the Halloween Howl for fangtastic family entertainment at the Annual Halloween Howl! Safely trick-or-treat in 12 indoor ghastly galleries, participate in spooktacular activities, make creepy crafts, and have some ghoulish fun!

When: Saturday, October 26, 6pm-9pm
If you're expecting to eat a lot of Halloween candy this year, why not run it off as an entire family? The Spooky dash is a family-friendly events where racers can run 3K, 5K, or even a 10K race at beautiful Assiniboine Park. Tickets are $20 in advance, $30 on the day of the race, and free for children running in the Freaky Five & Under with a registered adult.

Halloween is an exciting time of year here at the corn maze! The maze is golden in colour and rustles in the wind leading you to believe there is something out there. The Haunted Forest begins to moan and groan as the creatures of the Forest come alive to feast on the fall visitors. Enter at your own risk, as the forest will reach out to get your screams. A resident creature will lure you in with their haunting humour. Once in the Forest, there is no guarantee what will happen. Come prepared to be scared!
If this sounds too scary for your little one, visit during the day, there's still plenty of fun to be had.

Head to Park City West Community Centre this year to celebrate in style with entertainment and fun for everyone. This year there will be pizza, entertainment, crafts, and treats. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for kids, and Children 2 and under are FREE.

This year, wear your costume and get ready for a spooktacular night hike at Halloween at the Hill. Your mission: help save Betty the Bat from the evil and scary White-nose Fun-guy on a spooky hike. There will also be face painting, a bonfire, crafts, and a haunted forest. To sweeten the deal, the event is free, but its recommended that you bring a tin-for-the-bin in support of Winnipeg Harvest and help feed those in need in Manitoba.

LaserTopia, a lasertag and arcade games venue in Winnipeg, is hosting its very first Zombie Night. On October 25, kids ages 6 and up and adults are invited to play two games of laser tag and play arcade games. From 8pm to 11pm, zombies will be roaming around, so be on high alert and ready to get scared!
