Outdoor Movie Schedule in Victoria

FREE outdoor movies in and around Greater Victoria, updated for 2019! Bring a blanket or lawn chair and take in one of these movies in the great outdoors. All movies begin at dusk, at different locations across the city.

Over the past few years there has been a huge surge in demand for outdoor movies, and it's no wonder, what a perfect way to spend an evening! A movie surrounded by stars? Yes puh-lease!

Bring a blanket and lawn chair, sit back, and take in one of the shows with friends and family.

Admission is free to all movies, but seating is on a first come first served basis. Make sure you show up early to get a good spot!

BONUS: All movies at Bullen Park have free kid-friendly entertainment planned starting 1 hour before the show begins, and also have a concession available thanks to the Esquimalt Lions Club. All proceeds support services in the community.

Wednesday, July 10th – Top Gun

The Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School is where the best of the best train to refine their elite flying skills. When hotshot fighter pilot Maverick (Tom Cruise) is sent to the school, his reckless attitude and cocky demeanor put him at odds with the other pilots, especially the cool and collected Iceman (Val Kilmer). But Maverick isn't only competing to be the top fighter pilot, he's also fighting for the attention of his beautiful flight instructor, Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis).

As there is no way two con men can work a town that small at the same time, Lawrence and Freddy agree on a settlement: The first one to extract fifty thousand dollars from a young female target wins, the other leaves town. He can see his three children only once a week which doesn’t sit well with him. Daniel also holds a job at a TV studio as a shipping clerk under the recommendation of his liason. But when Miranda puts out an ad for a housekeeper, Daniel takes it upon himself to make a disguise as a Scottish lady named Mrs Doubtfire. And Daniel must also deal with Miranda’s new boyfriend Stu Dunemyer (Pierce Brosnan).
