Top Music and Performing Arts Camps in Ottawa

Whether your child is looking to build confidence or needs an activity to unleash some, we recommend signing up for a performing arts camp. It really doesn’t matter if your little ones can sing, dance, or act because we are here to help. Who knows - maybe they are a star in the making!

Stagecraft Children's Theatre School

Stagecraft Children’s Theatre School has one central aim: to enable all children to experience the fun, excitement, and challenge of performing while developing their own talents, strengths, and qualities.

This year's summer Stage Camps will perform Frozen (Pre-K and Kindergarten), Annie (up to Grade 6), and Legally Blonde Jr (Grade 7 to 18 years).

Shenkman Arts Centre

Mixing learning and fun is what the Shenkman Arts Centre does best. Camps are offered by the resident programming partners at the Centre: Gloucester Pottery School, Ottawa School of Art – Orléans Campus, OYP Theatre School and the City of Ottawa. Professional instructors working in their fields ensure a high standard of excellence.

Soloway JCC Summer Camps

Salamander Theatre for Young Audiences

Held at picturesque Billings Estate, Salamander Theatre offers Ottawa’s only outdoor drama summer camps for youth ages 10 to 18. Both the Shakespeare Camp (July 4-22) and the Musical Performance Camp (August 8-19) culminate in an evening performance for friends and family. Complimentary t-shirt included.

Ottawa Youth Orchestra Academy

OYOA's 10-day camps for young string, brass, wind and percussion musicians are led by some of Ottawa’s finest professional musicians and teachers. Daily ensemble playing, group lessons, theory and ear training, for beginner to advanced players, lead up to a concert on the final day.

Sports, crafts and recreation activities balance the music studies.

Pokrova Children's Ukrainian Arts Camp

Children's Ukrainian Arts day camp for kids aged 6-12 will be held July 18-22. Camp activities include music, dance, visual, culinary, curatorial & textile arts.
