St. Margaret's School
St. Margaret's Summer Camps are for girls from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Each week of summer camp is robust, with plenty of activity, field trips, and supported by guest specialists. This year’s camps themes include Road to Rio, an Olympic Sports inspired camp, as well as a mix of culinary, artistic, theatrical, and STEM themes!
Royal BC Museum
This year's featured summer camps include Mammoth Camp, where campers will explore the feature exhibit, build mini-dioramas, and dig for fossils; and Live Sustainably - Then and Now Camp, based at both the Royal BC Museum, and the O.U.R. Ecovillage in Shawnigan lake.
Camp themes vary weekly, but each camp will include hiking, swimming, exploring, tee-shirt making, fort building, building a sustainable city from recycled materials, active games, solitude and gratitude time.
Campers will also create a passion project that they have a chance to share at the Friday afternoon Mini-Gala!
Fired Up! Paint Your Own Ceramics Studio
Fired Up! is Saanich and Victoria’s best paint your own pottery studio, Tea bar and glass fusion studio. Come drop in for a relaxing, fun time.
Classes are offered in ceramics and canvas painting.
Crafty School of Art
Crafty School of Art is a colourful and cozy little studio located in the Jubilee area of Victoria. Crafty kids will explore clay, wool, paper maché, and many more mediums while creating unique projects with a focus on fun! Class sizes are small and are designed and led by local artist and Director of Crafty, Renée Sala.
James Bay Community Centre School
The JBCCS offers a wide range of programs this summer. These include Summer Dayz day camps (ages 9-13), Thrifty Foods Young Chef classes (ages 9-12), Summer Adventures Camps (K-5), and several adult programs as well.
In a fun, safe and wholesome Christian Camping environment, Camp Imadene provides the opportunity for an unforgettable outdoor adventure where life long friendships are born, and life changing decisions are made.Camp activities include canoeing, paddle-boarding, water-skiing, archery, geo-caching, rappelling, crafts, sports, and much more.
Christ Church Cathedral School
Week-long Technology Camps run all summer at Cathedral School. Themes include: Minecraft, Lego Mindstorms (Robotics), and Scratch 2-D Game Programming.
Hands-on, problem solving, design-based camps are sure to keep young engineers engaged. Camps include plenty of outdoor activities.
Mad Science of Vancouver Island
Mad Science camps offers a daily combination of in-class discovery and exploration, outdoor games, physical activities, and hands-on applications of the scientific principles presented.
Your child will be able touch, see, hear, smell and taste what science is really all about at these full-day camps.
Andrea's Sew Easy
Can you imagine how excited your child would be to make their own clothes? Andrea Bailey has been teaching children from the age of seven, up to teens, for over 25 years, year round! Small classes, maximum of 4, allow students to work at their own speed. One-week camps are held during July and August, in either morning or afternoon sessions.
Looking for a unique camp experience for a kid who likes to get sew and crafty? The Makehouse offers Make Camp (8-13) open to all abilities and Fashion camp (12-17), which builds on basic sewing experience with with a focus on clothing. The studio is chock-a-block with fabric, ribbons, trims & notions--a young designers paradise.
The Paint Box offers 22 different camps for ages 3-14! From 'Sketch Book' to 'Outdoor Fiber Art'.
The Paint Box has a camp for artsy kids of all ages!
Emmanuel Baptist Church
Emmanuel has six affordable camps for children from Preschool up to Grade 6. Learn to dance, explore the jungle and much more! At Vacation Bible School kids will explore the Deep Sea with games, interactive storytelling, crafts and singing. Come play and learn how God is with us wherever we go. The camper to adult ratio is very low with competent staff and volunteers.
Located in the Oaklands neighbourhood, Poppet Creative offers art camps for ages 5-15.
Camp activities include drawing, painting, illustration, comics, sculpture, mixed media and so much more.
