The Royal BC Museum’s mission is to promote an understanding of the living landscapes and cultures of British Columbia and engage people in a dialogue about their future. This year's featured summer camps include Mammoth Camp, where campers will explore the feature exhibit, build mini-dioramas, and dig for fossils; and Live Sustainably - Then and Now Camp, based at both the Royal BC Museum, and the O.U.R. Ecovillage in Shawnigan lake.
Academic Camp Canada, is a unique programme for day or overnight students aged 11 to 17 on the spectacular Brentwood College campus near Victoria on Vancouver Island. Camps with Zeebar Technologies are not ABOUT technology, but what creative things you can do WITH it once you understand how stuff really works. This year's camps are about Time, Topology and Tea: knot math, manifolds such as mirror spaces, keltic knots, entropy, escapements, algorithmic rhythm design, space time cones, and more. Cathedral School's summer programs are open to everyone and are full of exciting activities. Many day trips are planned including swimming; fun at local water parks; visits to Beacon Hill Park, Witty's Lagoon, Fort Rodd Hill, museums and much more. Technology camps are also offered for kids ages 9 - 12. At these camps, kids can learn about Minecraft, Lego Robotics and Scratch Programming.
