Summertime is approaching, and it's time to decide where to send the kids to camp.
Here are our favorite outdoor/adventure choices around Saskatoon:

Now that spring has finally sprung and the weather is heating up it is time to start thinking about summer. We absolutely love the idea of sending your kids to an outdoor summer camp. Why not let them soak up some sweet Vitamin D and have a blast with their best friends! In order to help, we’ve filtered through all the local outdoor kids camps and compiled a list of only the best and brightest.
St. John Bosco Wilderness Camp
Located on the shores of Zeden and Ispuchaw Lakes in Narrow Hills Provincial Park, Saskatchewan, SJBWC operates primarily as a summer camp for youth ages 9-17. The focus at camp is having fun learning and living in the outdoors. The core experience is the out-trip, where campers have the opportunity to experience rustic wilderness travel and camping, and develop a new appreciation for God and nature.
Camp Kadesh has 15 beautiful cabins that provide the ideal setting for a week of camping at Christopher Lake. Camp activities including wake-boarding, water skiing, knee boarding, tubing, wall-climbing, canoeing, archery, The Whipper, The Blob, The Mud Pit and many more.
Weekly sessions are available for different age groups from 8 to 18.
At the YMCA's Blackstrap Day Camp, kids ages 5-13 years old are taken each day to Blackstrap Lake to enjoy archery, canoeing, kayaking, environmental education, hiking, wall climbing, swimming, water games, and field games. Camp sessions are 1-week long.
Saskatoon Zoo Society
Bio-Bits (ages 7-10) and Bio-Explorer (ages 11-14) week long camps provide an experience your kids will never forget.
Children are always supervised, and there is no shortage of activities for everyone. From crafts, to getting to know the animals at the Saskatoon Zoo, kids are sure to have a blast!
Boys & Girls Clubs of Saskatoon
The BGC's Pike Lake Summer Day Camp is for children and youth ages 6 to 12 years old.
Campers will hike the nature trail, play capture the flag, sports, and spend time on the waterfront, among other activities that are not normally available in the city.
