Medallion Art School
Medallion Art School offers classes in a variety of media. Classes are limited in size to assure quality attention to each student. Individualized instruction is directly keyed to each student’s abilities and progress.
All instructors are highly trained artists and teachers who are experienced in a variety of media.
Camp Namanu's Day Camps feature a different theme each week. Among the art-themed camps are SIM City Building Blocks, Chefs in the Kitchen, and The Fantasy World of Mr. Skriggleboggle.
Day Camps are open to kids from K-5.
Randy Emberlin's Summer Comic Art Camps
Professional Instructor, Randy Emberlin has worked as a comic book artist and cartoon animator for 25 years. He is best known for his work on Amazing Spider-man and G.I. Joe. For students in the greater Portland and Beaverton metropolitan areas. Mr. Emberlin will be offering three 1-week camps in July.
Metro Arts Inc.
MetroArts Kids Camp, now in its 24th year, offers kids, ages 7-12, the opportunity to participate in all of the arts. Each day offers the opportunity to be immersed in a different artistic adventure in visual arts, music, theater, or dance.
They offer one to four weeks of camp and there are deep multi-week discounts.
Art Adventures Camp at Oregon College of Art and Craft
OCAC Art Adventures Camps have been crafting exciting and innovative youth art camps and family workshops since 1998. The most creative and nurturing artists and staff to guide youth through an exploration of art mediums, taking creative risks and problem solving.
Cinema Arts Camp
A week long Film and Animation Camp for young people. The goal of Cinema Arts Camp is to empower individual self-expression through collaborating in the production of film and animation. Campers will be supported in areas of their greatest interest and use improv, music, art , film, green screen and software applications to create special effects, 3D models (Pixar style).
Spark Arts Center
Spark Arts Center inspires creativity, encourages individual expression, and most of all…fun!
Themed afternoon art camps are an excellent opportunity for half day art immersion, filled with drawing, painting, clay, paper mache, sewing, recycled craft sculptures, and more!
Willowbrook Arts Camp
At Willowbrook, creativity flourishes in a rich environment of integrated arts and nature. Children ages 3-18 explore visual and performing arts in more than 30 centers, including cultural crafts, ceramics, basketry, film, theatre, music, dance, writing, nature and more, guided by a talented staff. Beginners and advanced students sample freely or hone favorite skills. Camp runs June 27–August 5.
Hands On Art & Play
Hands On Art & Play offers 12 weeks of summer camps for preschool children. Children may attend 1 day, 1 week or even the whole summer! Hands On partners with other local programs to offer a variety of camps. From acting and dancing, to music and sports, to cooking and building! Each camp day includes an art and craft activity, a special snack and plenty of outdoor play.
