Medallion Art School

Medallion Art School offers summer art camps in a variety of media. Camps are limited in size to ensure that instructors can give quality attention to each student. Individualized instruction is altered to fit each student’s abilities and progress. All instructors are highly trained artists and teachers who are experienced in a variety of media.

Medallion's art camps are open to kids ages six and above and teenagers. Campers can sign up for one-, two-, or three-week sessions.

Randy Emberlin's Summer Comic Art Camps

Professional cartoon instructor Randy Emberlin has worked as a comic book artist and cartoon animator for 25 years.

He is best known for his work on Amazing Spider-man and G.I. Joe. For students in the greater Portland and Beaverton metropolitan areas, Randy runs one-week summer camps. Campers can register for half-day or full-day camps. They will learn how to draw their favourite comic book characters, and as their final project, they will learn how to draw and ink their very own two-to-three-page comic book story. 

Metro Arts Inc.

MetroArts Kids Camp offers kids ages 7 to 12 the opportunity to participate in all of the arts. Each day offers the opportunity to be immersed in a different artistic adventure, such as visual arts, music, theater, or dance. Each week, campers go on an excursion to the Portland Art Museum, watch a performance by a guest artist, and put on a performance for their families.

Art Adventures Camp at Oregon College of Art and Craft

OCAC Art Adventures Camps have been crafting exciting and innovative youth art camps and family workshops since 1998. The most creative and nurturing artists and staff guide youth through an exploration of art mediums, taking creative risks and problem solving.

Spark Arts Center

Spark Arts Center inspires creativity, encourages individual expression, and most of all, is a lot fun! Spark's themed afternoon art camps are an excellent opportunity for half-day art immersion, filled with drawing, painting, clay, paper mache, sewing, recycled craft sculptures, and more!

Willowbrook Arts Camp

At Willowbrook, creativity flourishes in a rich environment of integrated arts and nature. Children ages 3 to 18 explore visual and performing arts in more than 30 areas, including cultural crafts, ceramics, basketry, film, theatre, music, dance, writing, nature, and more, guided by talented staff. Beginners and advanced students can sample freely or hone their artistic skills. 

Hands On Art & Play

Hands On Art & Play offers 12 weeks of summer camps for preschool children. Children may attend one day or one week of camp, or even the whole summer! Hands On partners with other local programs to offer a variety of camps, from acting and dancing, to music and sports, to cooking and building! Each camp day includes an art and craft activity, a special snack, and plenty of outdoor play.

SCRAP sells environmentally sustainable art supplies and hosts educational classes and camps to promote sustainability. Camp SCRAP is focused on creative reuse and allows children to explore bringing discarded materials to life. It's for children entering first through sixth grade who love inventing, making, and creating. 

Portland Child Art Studio

Portland Child Art Studio runs daily summer art camps Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each day costs $25 per child, and you can choose the number of days you want to send your child to camp for. PCAS accommodates ten children per day, and they must be potty trained. 

Trackers Earth Portland

Trackers Earth Portland hosts award-wining arts and crafts summer camps. Expert educators and artisans lead students in ceramics, blacksmithing, basket weaving, felting, bow making, woodworking, photography, filmmaking, and more. Camps are open to children and teens, and there are options for day and overnight camps.
