Top Outdoor Summer Camps in Regina
Now that spring has finally sprung and the weather is heating up it is time to start thinking about summer. We absolutely love the idea of sending your kids to an outdoor summer camp. Why not let them soak up some sweet Vitamin D and have a blast with their best friends! In order to help, we’ve filtered through all the local outdoor kids camps and compiled a list of only the best and brightest.
Sasktel Summer Cool Camps at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum for kids in grades 1-5 are offered in single-day, and 4 and 5-day sessions. Themes include dinosaurs, wild animals, anthropology, Saskatchewan geography, ecozones, environment, marine life and plants. Children will have an opportunity to play, learn and explore nature past and present right in Regina. Every camp promises plenty of outdoor fun in Wascana Park and surrounding area.
Adventure-hungry 9-12 year olds who come to this camp will learn amazing things about dinosaurs and the people who discover them. Campers will spend the first part of this week exploring the galleries and artifacts in Regina, then venture to Eastend, SK for 3 days and 2 nights. This camp promises to be filled with natural exploration, paleontological activities, and tons of fun at the RSM and the T.rex Discovery Centre!
Located just 15 minutes north of Regina, Dallas Valley offers week long Christian camps for kids. Campers will participate in e a variety of activities including horseback riding, wall climbing, high ropes, paintball, archery, canoeing, inflatable water toys, zip-line, riflery, mountain boarding, mountain biking, and much more.
Canoe/Kayak for Youth is a new, program developed to help introduce sprint canoe and kayak skills to youths age 10-14 years of age. Participants will learn to paddle a recreation canoe and single kayaks over 5 sessions. They will also receive a t-shirt and a booklet to help them keep track of their new skills.
Certified Coaches with excellent well schooled horses offering a multi-disciplinary approach to all levels and styles of riders.
