Top STEM and Academic Camps on the Peninsula


For those of you who don’t know, STEM is a popular acronym for “Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.” Opportunities in the STEM fields are on the rise, meaning it has never been a better time to learn how to create and innovate!

If you want your kids to get a competitive edge learning code, game design, robotics and many other awesome activities check out our list of the Top STEM & Academic Camp providers below.



Stratford School

Stratford School offers an innovative, customizable summer experience, featuring both their original summer day camps as well as an enriched summer STEAM program. Campers in preschool through fifth grade learn, explore, and engage in camp-style activities in the original, enriched Camp Socrates summer day camps, while Summer Enrichment classes are available for Middle School students, including test prep for the High School Entrance Exam and advanced academic classes.




Environmental Volunteers 

Environmental Volunteers offers the "Explore!" Summer Day Camp, and Girls in Science Camp at the EcoCenter, in the beautiful Palo Alto Baylands. At "Explore!", kids will enjoy hands-on science activities, and choose among different activities, including crafts, games, and sports; while at the popular Girls in Science camp, every day is a new adventure with hiking, exploring, creating, making new friends, playing games, and having fun.

Quantum Camp

QC offers compelling, concept-based math and science camps for elementary and middle schoolers. Each camp focuses on a pair of fundamental ideas in math and science that have inspired great thinkers throughout history.

Bay Area Mad Science

iD Tech

iD Tech, offers hands-on, high-energy summer computer programs for kids and teens.
