Top STEM and Academic Camps in Seattle

For those of you who don’t know, STEM is a popular acronym for “Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.” Opportunities in the STEM fields are on the rise, meaning it has never been a better time to learn how to create and innovate!

TechKnowHow Seattle

These week-long summer camps offer a variety of fun and enriching hands-on projects which teach students how to use technology creatively. Camp activities include building projects with LEGO® gears and motors, WeDo® and NXT® and EV3® Robotics, Game Design and Python Programming. Classes feature high-interest, age-appropriate projects which teach technology and science skills.

Debate Camp

Need an idea for that smart chatty kid?  Debate Camp offers training in Public Speaking, Debating and Model United Nations for students in grades 6 to 11. This multi-leveled program suits all abilities, from the novice to experienced speaker.  Kids come away with confidence, new ideas, lots of fun and skills development for higher learning and life!  

For Seattle area families, camp is 1 week overnight with bus service from the Victoria Clipper.

Join Wolf camp for fun, skill-building programs guided by highly trained instructors since 1996.

Overnight Youth Camps for students aged 9-17, and Kids Day Camps for kids aged 5-13 are available to teach useful skills, which may include wilderness survival, photography, orienteering, nature guides, and more depending on the session.

Children's Museum of Tacoma

If your child is curious, creative, and imaginative, then there is a summer camp at the Children's Museum of Tacoma that will ignite their spark! Summer camps vary in theme each week and are intended for children 3-6 years old.

Camps are offered as either 9am-12pm or from 9am-2pm.

Canoe Island French Camp

Campers ages 9-16 learn French while participating in outdoor and artistic activities on private Canoe Island in the San Juan Islands since 1969. Small Camper:Counselor ratio (1:5) for greater supervision and individual attention. Activities include kayaking, sailing, theater, art, cooking, snorkeling, photography, fencing, and swimming. No language prerequisite. Family Camps are available too!

Bricks 4 Kidz

Bricks 4 Kidz® camps are a fresh and fun way for kids ages 5-11 to spend their school break! Guided by experienced teachers and built around exciting themes like Amusement Parks, Space and Robotics, children will enjoy using LEGO® Bricks to build specially-designed Bricks 4 Kidz models, play LEGO® games and explore the world of engineering, architecture and animated movie-making.

BEAM Experiences

BEAM Experiences offers STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, Math) summer camps in Seattle’s elementary and middle schools. Their goal is to meet your students’ individual educational and creative goals.
