It's almost spring and there are so many fun activities planned in this merry month of March. If you are looking for fun and interesting things to do in Auburn, Roseville, or the Sacramento area, I've got some to share with you.
This weekend it's time for another big TIME CHANGE. Don't forget to change any clocks that still need changing. Change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors as well. And while those two aren't the most fun things in the world, there are some fun activities you and your kids and grandkids can enjoy. Our local Macaroni Kid blog has 5 cute ideas for Spring and Springing Forward (about mid-way down the page in the post) called 5 Ideas To Help Your Family Spring Forward. The blog includes 1 of my personal faves - getting out the sidewalk chalk and drawing hopscotch games. Once they are tired of hopping around, they can also enjoy drawing pictures on the sidewalk. I love it when they do that and often take photos to save the sweet memories for later.
ST PATRICKS DAY
Right here on ChatterBlock, I noticed a fun idea that would be a delight for you along with an older child or two. Relles Florist is offering a class on how to make a themed bouquet with the focus on St Patricks Day. The class will be on Saturday, March 12th from 10:00am - 11:30am and it costs $35 per person. Their address is 400 J Street, Sacramento, CA, 95816
In my St Patricks Day post at Roseville California Joys, I shared several fun ideas, including among other things, a fun Shamrock Run with Blue Diamond Almonds on March 12 & 13 which includes a 5K & Kids' Leprechaun Dash 1/2 Mile on March 12 at Raley Field in Sacramento. Good exercise AND good green fun. :)
