Summer is rolling in fast! Soon school will be over and your kids will be biting at the bit to get out there and get active. Why not keep them happy and healthy at one of our “Top Summer Sports Camps”? Below we’ve listed only the coolest camps that we guarantee any sports enthusiast will love.
Lil Sports Academy offers indoor and outdoor sports summer camps for kids ages 3 to 7 years old at locations in Brentwood and Franklin. Baseball, soccer, football, basketball and multi-sport camps teach kids fundamental skills, game situations and scrimmages to help them prepare for league play. Camps are 4-days per week, 2 1/2 hours per day and include a t-shirt and medal.
Several camps are available at Williamson County Parks and Rec. Featured athletic camps are offered in dance and cheer, teen adventure trips, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, soccer, and tennis.
Kids Rock is an instructional program offered once a week after school to 1st through 5th graders, which focuses on developing them both mentally and physically. Over the course of 8 or 16 weeks (depending on the program), participants learn self-confidence, problem solving, focus, and determination through various goals and challenges, while also keeping active and fit!
Day camp programs include Camp Warner Park, Camp Bells Bend Beaman, Mountain Bike Camp and Nashville Sail Camp. At Leadership Academy, the staff believes that outdoor play and exploration increases creativity, confidence and social intelligence. Their goal is to get more people outside, exploring, learning, playing and having fun so they develop a strong sense of self and a deeper connection to nature.
