Summer is rolling in fast! Soon school will be over and your kids will be biting at the bit to get out there and get active. Why not keep them happy and healthy at one of our “Top Summer Sports Camps”? Below we’ve listed only the coolest camps that we guarantee any sports enthusiast will love.
PGA Junior Golf Camps
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. PGA Junior Golf Camps' promise is to support, encourage, and respect each and every camper and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
Located in Round Rock, Camp Doublecreek is a day camp for children aged 4-14, established in 1971.
Campers will enjoy swimming, horseback riding, all kinds of sports, miniature golf, baby animals, arts and crafts, archery, tennis, tumbling, a playscape, and many other fun games and activities.
First Tee of Greater Austin
Kids can learn about the great game of golf...and gain important life skills through one or more of The First Tee of Greater Austin's 17 summer camps sessions.
Each day will feature fun, challenging golf activities, footgolf, as well as their award winning Life Skills curriculum. Full day camps also include swimming at the adjacent East Communities YMCA.
Rockhold Karate is dedicated to providing clients with a lifelong experience in martial arts, while building the basis for self-discipline leading to the sharpening of mind, body and character. Programs are offered for all ages from Karate Kids (ages 4-6), Youth Programs (ages 6-16), as well as Teen and Adult classes.
Anderson Mill Parks & Recreation
A wide range of sports camps are available at multiple facilities. Athletic camps range from aquatics to racquet sports to team sports, and more.
There is something available for all ages and interests.
Austin Fencers Club
Fencing is a great way for kids of all ages and sizes to build fitness, agility, strength, endurance, and flexibility.
In addition fencing also promotes intellectual development, decision-making skills, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
Chaparral Ice offers two camp options: Camp Avalanche (general activity-filled day camp) and Camp de Champs (skating training camp) for skating enthusiasts. Camp Avalanche takes place ad different locations each week, depending on the activity. Some of these locations include Hawaiian Falls, Quest Wakeboard Adventure Park, , and Ziplining Adventures at Candlelight Ranch.
