Now that spring has finally sprung and the weather is heating up it is time to start thinking about summer. We absolutely love the idea of sending your kids to an outdoor summer camp. Why not let them soak up some sweet Vitamin D and have a blast with their best friends! In order to help, we’ve filtered through all the local outdoor kids camps and compiled a list of only the best and brightest.



Environmental Volunteers

Environmental Volunteers offers "Explore! Camp", where campers will get inspired about nature through hands-on learning and field trips, and choose from a variety of activities such as sports, crafts, and live animal interaction. They also offer the 2-week Girls in Science camp where girls can hike, explore, and build science skills.




YMCA of Silicon Valley

A broad selection of outdoor overnight and day camps are available at the YMCA to suit all ages. If you're looking for a reputable name, the YMCA needs no introduction. The Y is the nation’s leading nonprofit organisation, committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.




Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camp

This full-facility day camp for boys and girls is located in the heart of Northern California’s South Bay, serving the Los Altos, Cupertino, and San Jose communities. They provide a wide variety of activities for boys and girls ages 5 to 13 in a highly interactive environment. Established in 1984, Golden Eagle Summer Sports Camps are one of the oldest and most respected camps in the area.



Treks & Tracks

Summer camps take place in the Santa Cruz mountains in Saratoga, at the beautiful Savannah-Channelle Vineyard.

Family Camp at Yosemite provides an all-inclusive camping experience.

Campers of all ages can fish, hike, swim, participate in organized programs, or enjoy the the Yosemite National Park on their own schedule.
