Family Fishing Weekend
Are you interested in taking your family fishing but aren’t ready to commit to purchasing a fishing license? Well you and your kiddies are in luck! Twice a year Albertans are encouraged to give fishing a try on all water bodies (excluding national parks) with open fishing seasons. This year, Family Fishing Weekend runs in conjunction with Family Day. No licenses are required to enjoy the sport during this weekend. Hooked yet?

Take advantage of your chance to skate on “The Fastest Ice in the Word” this weekend. In honour of Family Day the University of Calgary Olympic Oval is hosting a free skating event.
