Christmas is approaching, and like Santa, there is a lot for us to do!
But where are all the fun events?

The weather is getting rather frosty but not all is lost, it’s a wonderful time of year to celebrate and enjoy all sorts of community traditions and festivities with your family!
When: November 14 - December 27 (several shows)Where: Globe Theatre
Globe Theatre’s Artistic Director Ruth Smillie (Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood) has re-imagined this classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. This spectacular production will enchant and delight audiences of all ages.
When: November 20-22Where: Conexus Arts Centre
WinterGreen is the SCC’s largest market, featuring a tremendous selection of beautiful hand-crafted work. The 2015 market showcases over 70 artisans, including more than a dozen new exhibitors! The market will feature gifts of every description including traditional and contemporary works in clay, photography, furniture, sculpture, wood, jewellery, and glass.
When: November 21 - December 23Where: Northgate Mall
Santa will be arriving at Northgate Mall (Centre Court) on Saturday, November 21st, and sticking around for pictures until December 23rd when he has to go back to work.
When: November 22Where: Regina Public Library - Albert Branch
Help assemble a festive tree, made completely out of ice blocks, outside the Albert Branch Library.
When: November 26-28Where: Wascana Rehabilitation Centre
Forty artists will be participating and featuring two dimensional art work at the Prairie Artists Guild's annual Christmas Show and Sale. Silent auction proceeds are donated to the volunteer association for the residents of Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.
When: November 28Where: Cathedral Neighborhood Centre
This year, 16 Saskatchewan jewellery artists will be present with beautiful, handmade, one-of-a-kind wearable art. Admission is free, coffee is free, and there is a free draw for jewellery from our artists. Come out and see some beautiful work and find those perfect gifts for your friends and family and you!

In Germany, Christmas Markets are a delightful way to begin the holiday festivities. With the crisp, cold air filled with the fragrance of sizzling sausages, sweet pastries, spices and hot spiced gluhwein, the Regina German Club is honoured to once again play host to the old world charm of a German Christmas Market.

Families across Canada have made The Vinyl Cafe one of their Christmas Traditions. This year’s Vinyl Cafe Christmas Concert will feature two brand new Dave & Morley stories and special musical guests.
When: December 6Where: Royal Saskatchewan Museum
The annual 5K Santa Shuffle Fun Run & 1K Elf Walk brings families and friends together. This merry event helps The Salvation Army to assist families and individuals in need during the Christmas season and throughout the year.

Celebrate the holiday season and the opening of the exhibition Expanding Horizons: Collecting the Group of Seven through storytelling, choir performances, interactive gallery tours, and hands-on art activities for all ages.

Join in an evening of fun, family and friends as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN PLATE AND CUTLERY FOR THE DINNER.

Each year, the Regina Garden Associates puts on a Christmas Tea event at the Regina Floral Conservatory. It will have four sittings of an hour each where guests are treated to tea, coffee, and dainties and enjoy local entertainment right in the display of the Conservatory. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

This party for kids ages 3 to 5. Join the library for this magical time of year. Registration is required.
