Nestled in the heart San Francisco’s Cow Hollow District, ARTifact is a cozy carriage house where creativity thrives. Whether you’re a dreamer, wisher, creator, or just someone who likes to get messy for the sake of art, ARTifact invites you to share in our creative process! ARTifact offers drop-off art classes for kids age 2.5-12. Projects range from fine arts to traditional crafts and art history.
JAMaROO KIDs has been growing throughout the Bay Area as educators and parents realize the importance of providing their children with quality enrichment programs and entertainment. They specialize in developmentally appropriate Dance, Music, Yoga, Storytime & Art Classes for young children at over 80 preschools & daycares. Founded in 1968, Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) is Northern California’s largest non-profit provider of arts education programs. CSMA faculty is composed of professional musicians, practicing artists, and experienced teachers who care deeply about educating students of all ages and abilities. It makes for a very nurturing, passionate and positive environment for every student. It never takes long for kids realize that CSMA really values their accomplishments.
Color Me Mine in San Jose is the leader in paint-your-own ceramics, you can create your own unique gift, host a party, or just explore your creative talents! The studio owner has been with Color Me Mine since 2005. Her years of experience and that of her staff, will make your experience one that is a cut above the rest. Over 200 selection of items to paint is second to none in the Bay Area!
Montalvo Arts Center is a nonprofit member-supported arts organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving the creative spirit. Our mission is to create and present arts of all types, nurture artists, and use our historic Villa, buildings, and grounds in innovative ways that engage and inspire the public. Our exhibitions and schedule of public programs are coordinated around an annual/biennial theme. This year’s theme is “Flourish: Artists Explore Wellbeing.”
Located in Santa Clara, Starting Arts is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is the promotion and preservation of quality arts education in public schools. Since 2000, Starting Arts has partnered with school communities and districts in the San Francisco Bay area to provide both during and after school programs in visual and performing arts for children in grades K through 12. They also have summer camps in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara and Willow Glen. Studio classes are held at our Santa Clara location.
Edventure More is a year-round 501(c)(3) non-profit enrichment organization. Since 2004, they have created award-winning summer camps and school year programs in partnership with top Bay Area museums and talented professionals. They’re a local force in the national movement to prevent Summer Learning Loss, build 21st Century Life Skills and save hands-on learning in schools.
Sticky Art Lab is a place where children and their caregivers can experiment with earthly and recycled materials and bring home a mindful art piece. Admission includes all materials. Take your time, no rush. It’s the family art lab you always wanted at home ! For ages 2 and up, and no matter your skill level.
In the spirit of creative play, community, cooperation and fun, Ha Ha This A-way offers activities for children, adults and families. The goal at Ha Ha This A-away is to help children learn alternatives to disruptive or alienating behaviour, enjoy more positive peer relationships and feel better about themselves. Theater games, role-playing, visual arts, board games, legos, music & movement activities, and group discussions are among the variety of activities which may be used to facilitate group cohesion and each member’s individual growth.
The Berkeley Playhouse was founded in 2007 by Artistic Director, Elizabeth McKoy, a professional theatre actor, director, and teacher for over 20 years. Berkeley Playhouse produces theatre that is “intelligent, relevant, and soul-stirring.” They bring together performers and audience members of all ages and strive to provide experiences that fully engage performers and audiences. They provide classes and performance training in acting, singing, dancing, and technical theatre.
Monart is more than a method that teaches people how to draw. Leading educators recognize Monart as a teaching system that helps students to focus and concentrate, make decisions, solve problems, sequence and develop hand-eye coordination. In a peaceful environment students learn that drawing is a teachable subject in which anyone can be successful; classes generally meet once a week and run continually throughout the academic year.
Tucked between Oakland Technical High School and Temescal Pool in north Oakland, the Studio One Art Center is the only city-run program dedicated to studio arts instruction in a wide range of media for persons of all ages, such as: Ceramics, Sculpture, Flower Arts, Glass Fusing, Stained Glass, Bead-making, Jewelry, Painting, Mixed Media, Drawing, and so much more!
The Palm Academy, located in Fremont is licensed to offer worldwide enrichment programs such as Fastrackids, JEI, and Abrakadoodle Art programs and help children of families in the community be successful in school and life by providing a balanced academic education that focuses on critical thinking, communication, creativity, collaboration and confidence.
Abrakadoodle offers art camps and art parties for children ages 20 months to 12 years old. Art programs are offered at schools and other convenient community locations though our mobile art education program or at private and charter schools through our Art in Our World Art Education Program.
Located at GROW Art & Garden Education Center in Mill Valley, the Mill Valley Potter’s Studio offers adult classes, after-school youth classes, studio time for adult-members to practice outside of class, parent/child classes, private lessons and parties, and a variety of workshops. The Studio was founded by Jennie Dito, a local ceramic enthusiast.
